Maureen Denise McCormick was born on the 5th of August 1956 in Woodland Hills California the youngest and only child of Richard McCormick and Irene McCormick. Her father taught school while her mother was a housewife. Michael Dennis and Kevin are three of her brothers older than her. At a young age McCormick was a singer and dance and would often present puppet shows to youngsters in the area. Following her win in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest at the age of 6 an old Pat Domigan called from Jack Wormser Agency to see what she thought about getting into the world of entertainment. McCormick was offered her first significant task in 1964 when she starred in a commercial on television for Mattels latest doll, Baby Pattaburp. The following year, she starred for the company's Chatty Cathy Doll and was quickly chosen to play the La Jolla Playhouse play Wind ItUp And ItBreaks. The Brady Bunch In 1969 McCormick was chosen out of a crowd of over 1,200 kids who auditioned for the chance to be the youngest of three towheaded girls on the brand new TV sitcom The Brady Bunch starring Florence Henderson as well as Robert Reed as newlyweds with the family of a blended couple. The show ran for five years. McCormick admitted the story Heres the Story.
